I usually apply varied teaching methods:
1. Group work collaboration and peer learning.
This method appears to me very effective as I had to handle a big quantity of students per class. Students are given a group project and they had to collaborate and discuss with their peers.
2. Role-model
Students communicate a lot while doing role-model. They have to take each one role in the topic they are learning and try to make it alive with dialogues.
3. Problem based learning (PBL)
Students are some times given a situation, where they have to solve a proplem in group works.
4. Technology and multimedia.
Technology makes learning a language very interesting. There are no more barriers in accessing knowledge. Students are taught how to use Arabic characters and then they are free to browse in the internet searching for information especially the arabic culture and matters of Arabic concern and even accessing reading materials such as online newspapers and magazines.
